Silk Scarf Story: Wanderlust Compass

Like many of the Stellina silk twill scarves, components of the Wanderlust Compass tale are spun from memory. The founder of Stellina was inspired by her grandparents' house, which sparked her imagination in various ways. There, she would transform into a veterinarian for the barn cats and later into their Avon makeup artist. The hearth of the fireplace became the local grocery store, where she learned to make change and bag groceries for Abigail Papoofnick — her grandmother’s pretend name. She would spin the antique globe until the continents blurred, stopping it to decide where to travel next. Then she would race down the hallway, past the wallpaper that had always fascinated her, leading to a cozy room filled with her mother’s childhood toys.

Despite growing up, moving away, and being pulled back home, the magical wallpaper remains a constant presence sprinkled throughout the Wanderlust Compass scarf.
